Recent software issues related to Time Warner's recent software upgrade

Recently Time Warner upgraded their software interface for their cable boxes. The interface, from a usability and visual perspective it is much improved. BUT Time Warner obviously did an extremely poor job of quality Assurance before releasing the software. The new software corrupted at least one years worth of programs that I had recorded on my DVR to the point where there is no data on the time, date, channel or program.

All programs recorded before the software upgrade, and I use that term very loosely appear as unknown #:

Here is what this past month’s programs look like on the Time Warner DVR interface and how they should ALL appear :

Please let me know if you have experienced the same issues.

NYC MTA - Brooklyn F Line Needs More Service

As many of us in Brooklyn know, the F line needs better service. State Senator Squadron has finally demanded answers from the MTA. And will someone please tell me why the V line does not go into Brooklyn. Is it true that Brooklyn deserves 50% less service that Queens and Manhattan, since it is pretty much guaranteed that every other train in those boroughs will not travel into Brooklyn. Even the MTA knows (but will not really acknowledge) that the F train is too crowded much of the time.
