The interface, from a usability and visual perspective it is much improved. BUT Time Warner obviously did an extremely poor job of quality Assurance before releasing the software. The new software corrupted at least one years worth of programs that I had recorded on my DVR to the point where there is no data on the time, date, channel or program.

All programs recorded before the software upgrade, and I use that term very loosely appear as unknown #:
